Beppe Severgnini is the editor-in-chief of 7, the Corriere della Sera’s magazine, and he is the author of 16 books. He became a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times in 2013. His writing has appeared in Time magazine, The Financial Times and The Economist, where he was Italy correspondent from 1996 to 2003. He teaches at the School of Journalism of the University of Milan, and has been a research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Isaiah Berlin visiting scholar at Oxford University.
